Last month, this little girl was unable to run and play freely and faced the prospect of a life of increasing, debilitating pain due to a growing umbilical hernia.

Fortunately, she is part of a Karis family and so was able to have the operation she needed at Mengo Hospital.

All Karis Kids families are registered at local clinics and have access to healthcare. Many medical procedures and medication are covered by your support. (Major procedures require additional funding.)
