Bible fundraising update
Thank you to everyone who generously gave money towards the Bible fundraiser in March and April. We were pleased to send £811 over to Kampala this month — approximately enough to buy 129 Bibles for the children!
Our goal remains to continue to raise funds for all 345 children to have a Bible. So, for the remaining 216 children, we hope to raise £1,500 more in the coming months.
If that is something you’d like to help with, then it is not too late. The average cost of an age-appropriate Bible is £7 per child.
They will be distributed to those with the greatest need who also have the best ability for accessing reading material.
